C of I maintains position on Best College Rankings

The College of Idaho continues to receive national recognition for its top-notch academics and superior sense of community with its inclusion in the 2018 U.S. News and Report’s Best College Rankings.

The C of I ranked at No. 168 on the report’s “Best National Liberal Arts Colleges” rankings, the same ranking the College earned on 2017’s list. The rankings were determined by the U.S. News & World Report via a formula considering 15 areas related to academic excellence, including graduation rates, class sizes, and average ACT-SAT scores, among other important statistics.

C of I mourns the passing of Gov. Cecil Andrus

Those on the campus of the College of Idaho were saddened to learn of the passing of former Idaho Governor Cecil Andrus, while remembering a leader who played a significant role in the betterment and preservation of the College over the past 40 years.

There were times during his terms as Governor, as well as times when he served on the College’s Board of Trustees, when the College faced serious financial difficulties. Through his influence and leadership, the College received a number of financial gifts that helped sustain and even grow the campus.

Princeton Review includes C of I in "Best 382 Colleges"

The College of Idaho finds itself on the national stage once again with its inclusion in The Princeton Review’s 2018 edition of The Best 382 Colleges, an honor given only to the top 15 percent of America’s four-year colleges.
